A bargain at £7-50.
Had to ‘sign-on’.
Walking back, I noticed a sign advertising 30% discount on ‘back waxing’.
As I was pondering why anyone other than an Olympic swimmer (don’t they use those hi-tech extremely revealing slimy looking no doubt very expensive and probably Speedo supplied suits?) would want/need to be back waxed,
I was waved across the road, again! What’s happening? Is it my new look? (‘Normal hair/Suntan/Healthy’ rather than ‘skinhead number 2/pale, heroin chic/near death’)
Ever since I got back, instead of
“walk…….. and the council are closing the road, ****head!!!!!”
everyone is very friendly.
Anyway, this time, the lovely motorist hooted as well, and as I looked back, she waved at me…..
My friend Karen was driving.
I last saw Karen at Arundel Castle, when my Sister was doing a charity abseil from the ramparts……honestly!
I wish I had photos from that day.
Karen and I first met when my potential abseilling sister shared a house.
From being a shy civil servant, Karen has now become a farmer (too much to tell here).
